Smitty’s is being designed as a health conscious deli in the Five Points neighborhood. The deli plans to open on Welton Street in the spring of 2011. The deli will provide a full menu of sandwiches, soups and salads geared toward a healthy, low cholesterol diet. Along with the good food, the deli will offer workshops on: healthy cooking styles, nutrition, and tips on how to grow your own food.
